The Morpheus8 laser treatment has 2 hand-pieces for treatments. The Morpheus8 is used for smaller sections on the body such as, your face, hands, neck, nasolabial folds and more. The Morpheus8 Body is used for larger treatment areas such as, your legs, back, and stomach region.
Morpheus8 is a non invasive procedure that can be labeled as the 'whole package'. It does SO much for the treatment area so quickly with nearly instant results.

Does Morpheus8 Hurt?
The pain level varies on an individuals pain tolerance. At Prism Aesthetics, we do provide numbing cream, nerve block (on Morpheus face only) and laughing gas to reduce discomfort. The areas that are a little more sensitive are around the hairline and jawline.

How the Process Begins
After a topical numbing cream has been applied to the area and you're comfortable, your skin will be cleansed with an antibacterial solution, in preparation for Morpheus8. Please do not wear makeup to your appointment if we are treating your facial area. A Morpheus8 treatment takes just 20-30 minutes on either both the face or body - quickly delivering remarkable results!
Morpheus8 and AccuTite, a subcutaneous radiofrequency energy treatment for the lower face and neck area respectively, can be combined for superior skin contouring results than if applied individually. Utilizing both treatments together will provide optimal results that cannot be achieved through singular use of either one.
For optimal anti-aging and rejuvenation results, a minimum of three treatments spaced out at four weeks intervals is recommended. The desired outcome will determine the number of treatments needed. However, many of our clients experience an immediate benefit and visible results after just one session!
The Morpheus8 Healing Process
Post-Morpheus8 treatment, your skin may experience mild redness, swelling, and possibly bruising. Fear not - there are helpful ointments and concealers to reduce any discomfort! On the other hand, by the following day of your appointment with Morpheus8, most patients report being able to return to their daily routines as if nothing ever happened.
Occasionally, a deeper level treatment, will leave you with a maximum downtime of just 3-4 days (complete healing can take 3-4 weeks though). To ensure that your pre and post treatment skincare instructions are followed accurately, Erin Courtway APRN, and her team will provide a detailed approach when you book an appointment for your procedure with Prism Aesthetics.
After your appointment:
Do not wear make up for 2 to 3 days
Avoid direct sun exposure on the treatment area
Do not apply any serums, oils, etc unless directed by a team member of Prism Aesthetics
No working out
No sweating
No exfoliating for a week and half to two weeks
