What is an IPL Treatment?
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light. Harnessing the power of IPL technology, Lumecca is designed to provide an improved skin appearance, combat facial pigmentation, surface veins, skin texture and sun damage and age spots.
At Prism Aesthetics in Northwest Arkansas, we advocate for flawless skin and minimal sunlight. Thankfully, we are able to offer Lumecca at our clinic for those clients who are worried about the sun damage on their skin, age spots, pigmented lesions and more.
Below is a great video outlining exactly how Lumecca works on your skin and what it can do for you.
What is Lumecca?
Lumecca is the most intense and effective pulsed light (IPL) treatment available to reduce pigmented and vascular lesions. Patients can expect to experience a dramatic increase in skin complexion, brightness, and luminosity after just one use! The revolutionary Lumecca treatment utilizes selective photothermolysis to deliver a gentle yet powerful photofacial (when used on your face). However Lumecca can be used on so many different locations on your body.

Does Lumecca Hurt?
The Lumecca IPL therapy is more advanced than other types of IPL systems. It is a painless treatment and takes less time to complete. With our experts at Prism Aesthetics conducting the treatment, you may experience complete rejuvenation in just one to two sessions. Like stated before, we do suggest 3 sessions of our Lumecca treatments to see the full effect of that this treatment can do for your skin.
